How to make beautiful fresh salsa in the NutriBullet in under 20 seconds

Nothing could be quicker or easier to create than this sizzling fresh salsa recipe for the NutriBullet that will grace any dinner table any time. The hot kick of the chilli is offset by the freshness of the coriander, leaving you with an irresistible and delicious dip.

Ingredients:

  1. Tin of tomatoes (don’t drain as you’ll need the juice in the blender)
  2. 1/2 to 3/4 of a large onion roughly cut into chunks
  3. Generous handful of coriander
  4. 2 cloves of garlic
  5. A small red chilli (vary this depending on how hot you like your salsa!)
  6. A touch of salt (to taste)
  7. A squeeze of lemon or lime

Method:

  • Take the Tall or Colossus cup
  • Place all the ingredients in, making sure that you don’t exceed the max line
  • Add a little water if you don’t think there’s enough juice from the tinned tomatoes
  • Screw on the extractor blade and place on the power base
  • Blend using the ‘pulsing’ technique so that your salsa doesn’t turn to purée – this should take around 40-60 seconds
  • Serve with crudités, fresh bread or of course nacho chips!

If you’re wondering which Nutribullet will work best for this salsa, it can be made in any of them, but the Magic Bullet is probably the best as it leaves the coarsest results, which is what you want for a chunky salsa.
