Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 cucumber (with skin)
  2. Chopped galia melon, about 1/4 tall cup
  3. Chopped Cantaloupe melon, about 1/4 tall cup
  4. 1 tsp rose water
  5. 2-3 ice cubes
  6. Water to the max line

 

Method:

  • Put all the ingredients except the water into the tall cup
  • Top up with the water to the max line
  • Blitz until smooth

Tomato and watermelon medley

So much more than a tomato juice…this is a fabulous way to start your day when you want something light and palate cleansing.

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 tall cup of watermelon
  2. 1/3 cucumber
  3. 3 small tomatoes
  4. 6 basil leaves
  5. Squeeze of lemon juice
  6. 2 ice cubes
  7. Water to the max line

This recipe is packed chocker full of different vegetables that give a wonderful colour as well as a variety of nutrients. The sweetness of the apple makes the whole smoothie filling and delicious.

Apple nutribullet recipe

Ingredients:

  1. 2 apples (make sure that you remove the seeds as these should not be part of your smoothie)
  2. 1/4 cucumber
  3. 1 inch of beetroot
  4. Juice of 1/2 lemon
  5. Handful of baby spinach
  6. Sprig of parsley
  7. 1/2 avocado
  8. Ice
  9. Water to just below the max line

 

Method:

  • If you have a Nutribullet pro 900 then put all the ingredients into the Colossus cup. Otherwise use the tall cup and make in batches
  • Blitz until as smooth as possible
  • This is a filling smoothie so you may want to blitz for longer than usual to make it as smooth as possible.
