Here are our favourite Nutribullet carrot recipes also called carrot nutriblasts

The humble carrot is a fantastically adaptable ingredient, and one that we at A Juicy Blend like to use frequently in our nutriblasts – as NutriBullet calls its recipes. We’ve selected a few here for you to try.

Simple carrot juice

Many people wonder if you can actually make a pure juice in the Nutribullet, and it’s true that the machine is an extractor, and it is intended to retain the pulp and fibre that are removed by juicers. However if you’re really looking to make some juice in your Nutribullet then it is possible to do so.

Method:

  1. Add 4-5 peeled and chopped carrots to the small cup
  2. Top to the max line with water
  3. Screw on the extractor blade
  4. Blitz for around a minute, wait a few seconds and then blitz again
  5. When you’re happy with the consistency, remove from the blender
  6. If you’d like to have a purer juice, then pour the contents through a sieve
  7. If the resulting juice is too concentrated, then add more water
  8. Sweeten to taste with some honey or orange juice

Here’s a video that quickly shows the process of creating carrot juice with the NutriBullet:

Carrot and coriander soup made in the NutriBullet

Here’s a hearty and filling carrot and coriander soup that we love to make in the Nutribullet. It’s worth noting that if you have a Nutribullet RX then you can complete the whole process in the blender. However, for the NutriBullet 600 and Pro 900 it’s necessary to cook and cool the ingredients separately before finally blending them.

Ingredients:

  1. 450g carrots
  2. 1 tbsp olive or vegetable oil
  3. 1 sliced onion
  4. 1 tsp of ground coriander
  5. 1.2 litres of vegetable stock
  6. 1 small peeled potato
  7. Large bunch of fresh coriander
  8. Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Method:

  • Chop the onion and soften it in the olive oil
  • Add the potato and carrot and stir until they are starting to soften
  • Add the ground coriander and season. Cook for about a minute
  • Add the stock and leave to simmer for 15-20 minutes until the vegetables have softened
  • Remove from the heat and allow to cool
  • Pour the mixture in batches into the Nutribullet and add the fresh coriander. Blitz until smooth.
  • Reheat and serve, with some more fresh coriander to garnish
