How to make a healthy and filling breakfast with strawberries and bananas

We think that banana and strawberry nutribullet recipes are right up there in our top 10 combos. The good news is that even when strawberries are out of season, you can buy them frozen and these work just as well if not better because you get the chilled creaminess of the frozen fruit. Here are two classic Nutribullet recipes for this wonderful pairing – a fresh and a frozen version.

Stawberry and banana yoghurt shake

This strawberry and banana yoghurt shake recipe is ideal for when you’re looking for something tasty, healthy and filling. It’s also great for children as they love the sweetness of the fruit, and it’s a good way of getting the calcium from the Greek yoghurt into them! Try it with fresh or frozen fruit – this one’s definitely a keeper.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 fresh banana
  2. 1/4 cup of frozen strawberries (if you don’t have frozen then use fresh and add a couple of ice cubes)
  3. 2 tbsp low fat Greek yoghurt
  4. 1 tspn honey
  5. Water
